It can be pretty common for people to feel like there is no hope when it comes to things like climate change. In spite of the fact that this is the case, if you were to just not do anything due to the reason that you feel like there is nothing that can be done, you will have essentially put the final nail into the coffin of this planet that we all call home. That’s why things need to start changing now rather than later, and the longer you delay the less likely it would be that you would be able to reduce any of the harm that you have done so far at the end of the day.
It is important to note that even if major government institutions are not doing all that they are supposed to do in an attempt to protect the world from a climate crisis, that doesn’t mean that you can’t do anything about your personal carbon offsets. In fact, focusing on your own carbon footprint by removing meat from your diet and following a plant based one instead and avoiding air travel as much as you can is something that can help a lot more than you might initially be thinking.
You see, if everyone starts to make the changes that you are making, that can result in things becoming better pretty quickly. The fact that you are making a change would most likely inspire others to do the same as well, and you would be able to see other people behaving differently once they find out that you are doing so much and they are not doing quite as much as you are.
